IM House - Kelapa Gading

IM House is a 3-storey height residence in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. The IM House concept is a modern tropical house with sufficient natural lighting and ventilation. The design process explores the interaction of horizontal and vertical volumes, creating attractive shadows and depth. To address heat from the west oriented main facade, wooden panel are proposed, filtering light and projecting shadows for a natural texture. These openings improve air flow, ensuring the residence is well ventilated. The design also reflects a commitment to sustainability, with careful material selection to meet environmental standards.
